Description
Xenglu Met is an antidiabetic medicine containing Empagliflozin and Metformin HCl. This medicine, in combination with an appropriate diet and exercise, is used for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus (condition characterized by elevated sugar levels). It is often combined with other medicines to improve efficacy and bring about the desired results. Empagliflozin is mostly available in oral form. It is not indicated for diabetes type 1.

- Please discontinue use for 48 hours before and after surgery.

When not to use
- Do not use this medicine if you’re allergic to any of its constituents.
- This medicine is not recommended for children.
- Patients with diabetic ketoacidosis (metabolic disorder).
- Patients in pre-coma state.
- Severe kidney or liver impairment
- Heart or breathing disorders.
- Patients consuming large amounts of alcohol.
