Used For:

Travop Eye Drops, containing travoprost as the active ingredient, are primarily used to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. They work by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor (fluid within the eye), thereby reducing pressure inside the eye.

• Open-Angle Glaucoma: It is a common type of glaucoma where the drainage angle of the eye remains open, but the aqueous humor does not drain properly, leading to increased eye pressure.
• Ocular Hypertension: Elevated pressure inside the eye without any signs of optic nerve damage or vision loss.

Side Effects:

Common side effects that may occur with Travop Eye Drops include:

• Eye Irritation: Burning, stinging, itching, or redness in the eyes.
• Changes in Eyelashes: Darkening, thickening, or lengthening of eyelashes.
• Changes in Iris Color: Rarely, the color of the iris may become darker over time.
