How To Use

Cefoperazone treats infections such as the ones listed below:

- Intra-abdominal Infections and Peritonitis ( inflammation of lining of the belly) Septicemia (invasion of bacteria and their toxins in bloodstream) caused by bacteria
- Skin and Skin Structure Infections
- Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Endometritis (inflammation of uterus lining), and Other Female Reproductive Tract Infections
Side Effects
This medicine may cause rash, diarrhoea, decreased neutrophils (White blood cells), decreased haemoglobin, eosinophilia (increased eosinophils), or increased transaminases (liver enzymes). Please cosult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
Warnings
Cefoperazone should be administered during pregnancy only in case of a definite need. Consult your doctor before taking this medication while pregnant.
Cefoperazone is known to be excreted in breast milk in insignificant amounts. Lactating mothers should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.
Cefoperazone has not been shown in clinical trials to affect a patient's driving ability.
