Introduction

Expert Advice

• Take 1 tablet twice daily. This should be taken whole with some liquid before meals.
• Follow the advice given on the packet on how to take this medication or ask your healthcare provider.
• Consult your healthcare provider if the condition is not improving or worsening.
• Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light.
• Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.
• Do not use extra silymarin (milk thistle) to make up for the missed dose.

Primary Uses

Indications

This medication is indicated as supportive therapy for liver disease e.g. jaundice, hepatitis (inflammation of the liver), hepatic cirrhosis (dysfunction of the liver due to long-term damage).

Side Effects

The patients taking this medication may experience diarrhea, nausea, intestinal gas, fullness, headache, and loss of appetite.
