Side Effects:

Common side effects of Recute Capsules may include:

Precautions:

  • Pregnancy: Isotretinoin can cause severe birth defects. It is absolutely contraindicated during pregnancy. Effective contraception is required during treatment and for at least one month after stopping treatment.
  • Blood Donation: Do not donate blood while taking Isotretinoin and for at least one month after stopping treatment to avoid the risk of the drug being given to a pregnant transfusion recipient.
  • Liver Function: Regular monitoring of liver function tests may be necessary.
  • Lipid Levels: Isotretinoin can increase blood lipid levels, so lipid profiles should be monitored.
  • Mental Health: Be aware of potential mood changes and report any signs of depression or suicidal thoughts to your doctor immediately.
  • Sun Exposure: Avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen, as Isotretinoin can increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun.
  • Eye Care: Use artificial tears to relieve dry eyes if needed. Contact lenses may be uncomfortable to wear during treatment.
  • Interactions: Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements, as Isotretinoin can interact with other medications.
