Pack Size: 20g

Manufactured By: GSK Consumer Healthcare

Used For:

Hydrozole Cream typically contains a combination of Hydrocortisone and Clotrimazole. It is used for:

  • Fungal skin infections: Clotrimazole treats fungal infections such as athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworm (tinea corporis).

  • Inflammatory skin conditions: Hydrocortisone is a mild corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, itching, redness, and swelling associated with various skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis, and allergic reactions.

Side Effects:

Hydrozole Cream may cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them:

  • Skin reactions: Burning, itching, irritation, or dryness at the application site.
  • Skin thinning: Prolonged use of corticosteroids like hydrocortisone may lead to skin thinning (atrophy).
  • Allergic reactions: Rarely, some individuals may experience allergic reactions to clotrimazole or hydrocortisone, such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.

If you experience severe side effects or signs of an allergic reaction, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Precautions:

  • Allergies: Ensure you are not allergic to clotrimazole, hydrocortisone, or any other ingredients in the cream.
  • Avoid contact with eyes: Avoid getting the cream into the eyes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Do not use on broken or infected skin: Unless directed by a healthcare professional, avoid using Hydrozole Cream on broken, blistered, or infected skin as it can worsen the condition.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Consult a healthcare professional before using during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
  • Duration of use: Use for the shortest duration necessary to treat the condition. Prolonged use of corticosteroids should be avoided without medical supervision.
  • Children: Use with caution in children and follow the advice of a healthcare professional.
