While taking this drug, patients should be careful about electrolyte disturbances , along with drugs that might cause heartbeat irregularities (QT-interval prolongation). Patients who cannot take food should also be monitored.
Contraindications
This medicine should not be taken in patients who have a history of arrhythmia or bradycardia (heart rhythm abnormality); congestive heart failure with reduced ventricular ejection. (Less blood is pumped by the heart)
