Primary Uses
Capillariasis, Neurocysticercosis and HydatidIndications
This medicine is used in the management of hydatid cysts caused by parasitic organisms, and is used pre/post-operatively in combination with other medicines in patients with hydatid disease.Side Effects
Patients using this medication may at times experience GI (gastro-intestinal) disturbances, headaches, dizziness, fever, rash, and reversible alopecia (baldness). If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately.Warnings
This medicine should not be used in pregnancy.
This medicine should not be used by breastfeeding mothers.
Please avoid driving when taking this medicine as it may affect your ability to drive.
Patients should get their blood counts and liver function tests done before treatment and twice during each course of treatment.
Contraindications
