Indications:
Female infertility due to oligomenorrhoea (mentrual cycle greater than 35 days) or secondary amenorrhoea (absence of mentrual cycles) associated with polycystic ovarian disease. Male infertility. 

Pregnancy:
This medication is contrainidicated in pregnancy. Comsult your doctor before use.

Lactation:
This medication is contraindicated or not recommeneded in lactating females. Consult your doctor before. 

Precautions:
Multiple pregnancies, patients sensitive to pituitary gonadotrophins eg polycystic ovary disease, blurring or other visual symptoms can occur, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (exaggerated response from excess hormones) and abdominal pain. Uterine fibroids (non-cancerous growth of the uterus, depression, risk factors for thrombophlebitis (blood clots in your legs).

Contraindications:
This medication is contraindicated in patients with liver dysfunction, large ovarian cyst, endometrial carcinoma (cancer in the lining of endometrium), uterine bleeding  (bleeding from uterus), uncontrolled thyroid dysfunction.

Side effects:
Ovarian hyperstimulation, hot flushes, abdominal discomfort, visual discomfort, insomnia (inability to sleep), breast tenderness, headache, intermenstrual spotting, menorrhagia (heavy menstrual cylces), weight gain, rashes, dizziness, hairloss, ovarian enlargement, GI upset, urticaria (pale red bumps on skin), alopecia (hairfall in patches), fatigue, jaundice, abnormal LFTs and anxiety.
